Meet the Artist Behind Twisted Mesquite Studio

Hi, I’m Rijalynne (rhymes with violin) I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. I say “creating” because I love to play with different mediums to see where it leads me. I always had a crayon, pen, brush, clay, etc. in my hand while I was growing up. After graduating from Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD), I was fortunate to have had many different careers within the arts - Production Artist, Freelance Illustrator, Muralist, Decorative Painter, “Christmas Queen” and Interior Design Consultant. All of these amazing opportunities have expanded my skills and have brought me to where I am today. Ready for this new path - to play, explore and create.
